### Job Description: Communication Liaison

**Position Overview:**
The Communication Liaison serves as a vital link between Little Light House and the families, alumni, donors, and community members we serve. This role is responsible for fostering meaningful relationships through thoughtful communication and outreach, while also supporting the day-to-day operations that ensure our organization runs smoothly and remains welcoming to all.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**1. Community Engagement & Outreach (60%)**
- Send personalized thank-you and follow-up emails after events or meetings, fostering gratitude and connection.
- Write and deliver welcome letters and onboarding materials to new families, ensuring they feel supported from the start.
- Maintain regular communication with alumni families, including newsletters and updates to keep them engaged with our community.
- Support donor stewardship efforts through impactful communication and thoughtful touchpoints, strengthening our partnerships.
- Create and share content that tells the stories, expresses gratitude, and highlights the heart of Little Light House with the broader community.
- Follow up with the community via email after Community Luncheons, fundraising events, or other gatherings to maintain engagement and appreciation.
- Assist with organizing and providing tours for Community Luncheons, waiting lists, and other events as needed.
**2. Organizational Support (40%)**
- Greet all guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a welcoming experience that embodies our mission.
- Take daily attendance and manage student sign-in/sign-out processes with precision.
- Deliver internal mail and escort visitors or materials to appropriate areas of the building to ensure efficient operations.
- Provide general administrative support to staff and leadership as needed, contributing to the overall effectiveness of our team.
**Qualifications:**
**Education & Experience:**
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a nonprofit or ministry setting preferred.
**Skills & Competencies:**
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Warm, approachable, and professional presence that embodies our organizational values.
- Highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine heart for service and engagement.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and email/CRM platforms is preferred.
