We are seeking a senior-level Property Manager to lead the operations of our vacation rental portfolio with a focus on property performance, guest satisfaction, and team coordination.
Position Overview:
The Property Manager will serve as the operational lead for maintaining our vacation rental homes. This role involves end-to-end oversight of the homes in our portfolio—ensuring they are maintained to company standards, ready for guest stays, and continuously improving. This is a leadership position requiring strong operational skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple departments, including maintenance and guest services, and has direct oversight and management of the Cleaning Manager, and Cleaning Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day property operations for all vacation rental homes, ensuring consistent readiness, presentation, and functionality.
- Team Coordination: Work closely with maintenance and cleaning departments to assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular home inspections to evaluate cleanliness, safety, usability, and aesthetics; drive initiatives for improvement.
- Owner Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for property owners regarding maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and home condition reporting.
- Maintenance Oversight: Approve, coordinate, and follow up on repair work; work with in-house maintenance and vendors as needed to resolve issues quickly.
- Inventory and Asset Management: Maintain property inventories and ensure replacement of essential items; manage reporting of damage and guest-related claims.
- Guest Experience Support: Support the guest services team in resolving any issues related to the physical condition of the homes during a stay.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze guest feedback and operational trends to implement improvements across the portfolio.
- Crisis and Escalation Management: On call for property related issues during guest stays, take ownership of urgent property-related issues.
- Cross-Functional Projects: Lead or participate in seasonal operational projects, including home upgrades, system improvements, or off-season initiatives.
- Team Oversight: Provide direct support and leadership to cleaning department staff, stepping in as needed during peak season or staff absences.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- 3+ years of leadership experience in property management, hospitality operations, or facilities management.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing teams, vendors, and operational workflows.
- A high level of accountability, follow-through, and ownership mindset.
- Familiarity with property management systems and technology platforms.
- The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with seasonal demands and high guest expectations.
- Availability to work Saturdays during busy season, and ability to be on call for guest/business needs.
