We are looking for a skilled and professional Veterinary Assistant who truly cares for and enjoys working with both animals and their human families. We are prioritizing candidates with ezyvet PIMS experience.

Primary responsibilities:
- Check in patients for examination by obtaining vitals and pertinent history
- Intake and discharge surgical patients
- Handle and restrain animals safely using fear-free practices to minimize patient stress
- Patient care
- Taking diagnostic quality digital radiographs
- Properly collect and process patient samples for testing with our in-house laboratory equipment or for send out to a reference laboratory
Skills and knowledge:
- Venipuncture
- IV catheter placement
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs and stand/walk for long periods of time
- Cleaning and disinfection standard protocol
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks
- Utilize veterinary terminology to professionally communicate with team members and pet owners
We have several very skilled Technicians who can train you in the above skills as long as you are willing to learn. Ezyvet experience is prioritized, but we can train the right candidate in this as well.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
