Nease Animal Hospital is seeking to hire an experienced veterinary technician that is compassionate and dependable.
We are seeking a skilled, enthusiastic veterinary technician to join our team. Are you a task-oriented team player with a positive attitude? Do you enjoy communicating with clients and giving excellent care to patients?
We are looking for someone who would love to oversee inventory management.
This position is Full-Time Monday-Friday work week.
Our clinic is open M-F 7:00am - 5:00pm

Requirements:
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Veterinary Technician (required).
- Must have computer skills, familiarity with Covetrus is desired.
- Must possess strong communication skills, good judgment and be able to manage stressful situations.
- Must have the physical and mental capacity to perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Surgery, Anesthetic, Dental experience REQUIRED. If you need assistance completing a skill set in one of these areas, we are happy to train.
Responsibilities
Assisting the veterinarians with pet care, laboratory procedures, digital radiology, client communication, medical procedures, accurate record-keeping, pharmacy, knowledge and maintenance of instruments and equipment; daily treatment of surgical and/or outpatient pets; dental procedures and surgical procedures.
We are offering a starting rate between $18 and $25 per hour, and wage is commensurate with experience.
