Position Overview:
Crunch Fitness – Undefeated Tribe is seeking a Vice President of Facilities to support and elevate our team. This role is essential to enhancing both the member and team experience through strong leadership, exceptional customer service, attention to detail, creative problem-solving, and proven multi-unit maintenance management.
While every team member contributes to service excellence, the Facilities Team ensures each workout is seamless by maintaining a clean, fully functional, and well-
equipped environment—with available amenities and a commitment to high operational standards.
Responsibilities:
- Support up to 30 gyms and have two direct reports (regional facilities managers), who each oversee 3-5 technicians
- Ability to coach, develop and train regional facility technicians, both in person and remotely.
- Achieve per gym Facility/Equipment standards of: Equipment % Working: 99% or greater, Open Work Orders of 5 or less, and Average Age of Open work orders of
- 5 days or less through facility teams
- Perform club inspection/audit for the region each quarter to ensure a positive member experience that represents the Crunch Fitness brand.
- Accountable for work order management, ensuring low down time of equipment
- Support various degrees of grand opening - from site readiness, equipment readiness and ensure marketing standards are met.
- Identify, evaluate, and build strong relationships with key external vendors such as cleaning, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing service providers.
- Ensure consistent service quality and operational support across all locations by managing vendor performance in partnership with Regional and Market Leaders.
- Oversee strategic CapEx projects
- Hire, train, and develop District Maintenance Technicians as needed.
- Ensure Quality Assurance for facilities & equipment in the region
- Ensure and follow up on all complete scheduled preventative maintenance on all building systems.
- Expert in all functions and systems of the fitness facility and gym equipment.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- 5 years minimum management experience in building maintenance or retail maintenance preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems required.
- Ability to communicate effectively and use office equipment including a computer.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to bend, lift, and carry in excess of 100 lbs
- Continual standing and walking during shift
- Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals
