Warehouse Team Lead - Sunday - Thursday

We are a furniture distribution company looking for a sharp team leads to join our warehouse team! The warehouse lead's responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing, and scanning orders along with leading the team. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Brief Summary of Duties:

• Assigns, directs, monitors, and ensures proper completion of tasks for warehouse associates.
• Reports directly to Warehouse Supervisor and Manager
• Research and investigate any inventory issues that arise during shift.
• Ensures inbound and outbound shipments are complete and free of damages.
• Trains and develops the team in accordance with company policies and in coordination with the Warehouse Management.
• Confirms accuracy of employee time records and attendance policy.
• Oversee daily shift operations to include, shipping, receiving, loading outbound, and unloading inbound.
• Coordinates and communicates with inbound container carriers.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards for a safe work environment.
• Inform Warehouse Manager of all operating issues and problems and make recommendations for corrective action to ensure quality warehouse operations and customer service.
• Supervises between 4 to 6 non-supervisory employees.

Schedule:
Sunday - Thursday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Skills & Requirements

• 2 or more years of proven Warehouse Lead experience.
• Can operate a cherry picker, reach and/or turret.
• Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems.
• Knowledge of Warehouse safety regulatory standards.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
