Starting Pay Rate $15.00/ hr. Increase will be considered based on experience
- The water mitigation technician position requires the applicant to meet the following criteria:
- Be or Become certified by the IICRC in WRT/ASD (or interested in becoming certified) Mihalko’s will train and put the right candidate through IICRC certification classes.
Have some experience with general carpentry to be able to perform the following work:
- Controlled demolition of building materials (ceilings, walls, and floors)
- Willing to set fans and other restoration related equipment in homes and commercial buildings
- Must be able to lift equipment weighing 25-50 lbs
- Detachment of cabinets (base and wall cabinets)
- Detachment of plumbing fixtures (toilets, sinks, etc...)
- Detachment of small electrical fixtures (lights, outlets, etc...)
- Must be comfortable using mobile devices (Ipads and smart phones)
- Able to move furniture and other items out of a home and into storage facilities
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Be able to pass a federal background check
- Be able to work on-call hours which is a rotating schedule of individuals
- Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license.
- ON CALL compensated rotation required for 24/7 emergency services
