We are looking for an upbeat, positive person with manufacturing supervisory experience; someone who wants to help contribute to our company's success and growth. Essential Duties:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the shop
- Assign and coordinate workload for individuals
- Communicate and coordinate with production supervisors, engineering, programming, and upper management
- Control of material and production flow
- Maintain the order and efficient flow of the shop
- Maintain the highest possible quality standards for the department
- Assure that all projects are complete on time according to schedule
- Assure the entire department is well-kept and machinery & tools are maintained
- Responsible for creating an outstanding team environment
Qualifications/Skills:
- A minimum of 5 years of employee supervision, minimum 5 years welding experience, minimum 5 years production management.
- Candidates must have strong communication skills, strong math skills, and strategic thinking ability.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to provide clear and precise instructions, direction, and feedback to production team members.
- Ability to perform quality assurance on finished products per specifications.
- Strong computer skills and experience in Microsoft Office
- Be counted on to execute projects on time and with quality work and superior results.
- Act with integrity, maintaining the highest ethical standards while managing with safety and profitability in mind.
- Excel in a fast-paced environment by working together to achieve shared goals.
- Seek to strengthen weaknesses to become an all-around team contributor.'
