What You’ll Do


WeRise Wine Bar is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales and Events Coordinator to join our growing team. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving revenue through strategic partnerships, corporate sales, and private event bookings, while also serving as a key brand ambassador for WeRise.


Responsibilities will include

  • Winery Partnership Development:
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with winery partners to create and execute engaging co-hosted events at WeRise Wine Bar.
    • Identify and secure new winery partnerships that align with WeRise's brand and offerings.
    • Negotiate partnership agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and successful event outcomes.
  • Corporate Sales & Lead Generation:
    • Proactively identify and foster leads with local and national companies for corporate wine sales (e.g., bulk orders, corporate gifting, virtual tastings, team-building events).
    • Develop and implement strategies to convert leads into lasting corporate clients.
    • Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to closing and follow-up.
  • Hotel & Hospitality Relationships:
    • Build and nurture relationships with hotels, concierges, and event planners to drive referrals and partnerships for WeRise Wine Bar.
    • Promote WeRise as a preferred venue for hotel guests, corporate events, and private gatherings.
    • Explore opportunities for cross-promotional activities and package deals.
  • Offsite Events & Conferences:
    • Represent WeRise Wine Bar at offsite events, conferences, and industry trade shows.
    • Conduct professional wine tastings and pour wine for guests at these events, showcasing WeRise's selections and expertise.
    • Network effectively to generate new leads and partnership opportunities.
  • Private Event Management:
    • Collaborate closely with customers to understand their private event vision and translate it into successful and memorable experiences at WeRise.
    • Manage all aspects of private event planning, including proposal generation, contract negotiation, vendor coordination, and onsite execution.
    • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction throughout the entire event process.
  • Sales & Marketing Support:
    • Contribute to the development of sales and marketing materials, including presentations, brochures, and digital content.
    • Track sales metrics and prepare regular reports on performance, identifying areas for growth and improvement.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new market opportunities.


Qualifications


  • Proven experience in sales, event planning, or business development, preferably within the hospitality, wine, or food & beverage industry.
  • Strong understanding of wine and wine service, with a passion for sharing knowledge. (WSET certification (or similar) a plus, but not required).
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required for events and conferences.
  • Ability to lift and carry wine cases and event materials as needed.

Compensation

  • $55,0000 base compensation plus commission
