Job Title: Supervised Visitation Specialist (Parenting Time Monitor) — Weekend Focus
Roberts Family Resolution Services provides supervised visitation services designed to protect the safety and well-being of children while supporting healthy parent-child relationships. We are seeking reliable, active, and professional individuals who can work independently, follow clear procedures, and remain fully engaged with children through observation, play, and interviews during visits in dynamic, high-conflict family settings.
Compensation
Starting pay ranges from $20–$30 per hour, depending on experience, education, schedule chosen, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Paid travel time included.
Mandatory Shifts
You must be available for these shifts to hold the position:
- Saturdays: 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
- Sundays: 11:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Weekdays: 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm (Choose 2 or 3 evenings based on pay option. Shifts are typically 2–3 hours each evening.)
Additional hours are often available, but mandatory shifts must always stay open.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise court-ordered parenting time and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
- Stay fully engaged with children through interviews, play, and active supervision
- Document visits in detailed, timely reports
- Manage multiple children (2–6 at a time) and support their emotional safety
- Deescalate conflict and address inappropriate or unsafe behavior from parents calmly and professionally
- Follow established procedures and direction without reframing standard job duties as unfair
- Maintain daily, thorough communication with the team
Activity & Driving Requirements
This is a physically active, on-your-feet role that requires:
- Extended walking indoors and outdoors in all seasons
- Active participation with children at parks, playgrounds, jump parks, zoos, malls, museums, trails, and similar locations
- Comfort supervising in busy, crowded, and noisy environments
- Managing back-to-back visits and driving yourself to 1–4 locations per working day
- Lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs
- Navigating stairs without elevator access
- A reliable vehicle with good tires for year-round driving
Location
Visits occur throughout the Denver metro area, including Golden, Lakewood, Highlands Ranch, Castle Rock, Parker, Northglenn, Thornton, Commerce City, Aurora, and surrounding communities.
Ideal Candidate
- Thrives in a structured role with clear expectations and accountability
- Enjoys working with children and actively engaging with them through play and interviews
- Comfortable following procedures and receiving feedback without personalizing direction
- Emotionally resilient and calm in high-conflict or stressful situations
- Committed to at least one year in the role
- Holds a bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field
- Has at least 2 years of experience working in child welfare, special needs, mental health, domestic violence, trauma, or related settings
- Lives within reasonable distance of I-25 and Belleview preferred

- Those unable to meet the physical and communication demands of the role

Other Requirements
- Reliable laptop with Microsoft Word (installed, not just online version)
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
- Ability to communicate daily, responding thoroughly and timely
