Social Media Consultant
Job description
We are currently looking for a Social Media Consultant to strengthen the Cronos Europa team.
As a member of the Communication team, you will manage and deliver social media content for a high-profile public figure, ensuring that their messages are clear, engaging, and aligned with their public image.
Responsibilities
- Create, edit and publish social media content, including copy, images and videos, for Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok and other platforms.
- Manage the public figure’s social media accounts, ensuring a consistent tone of voice and alignment with their public image.
- Cover key engagements, institutional activities and international missions through social media content.
- Create and adapt content for Spanish-speaking audiences.
- Support the launch and management of Spanish-language social media channels.
- Work closely with audiovisual teams to create engaging video content, particularly for TikTok and younger audiences.
- Manage online communities, respond appropriately to interactions and encourage audience engagement.
- Monitor social media performance metrics and use the results to refine the communication strategy.
- Prepare reports on reach, engagement and content performance.
- Support paid social media promotion strategies.
- Coordinate with communication and press teams to align messaging and identify opportunities for increased visibility.
Technicalskills
- Social media management across Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
- Content creation and copywriting for institutional and public-facing communication.
- Photo and video editing skills.
- Creation of engaging short-form video content for social media.
- Community management and audience engagement.
- Social media strategy development and implementation.
- Monitoring and analysis of social media performance metrics.
- KPI reporting and content performance optimisation.
- Creation and adaptation of multilingual content.
- Communication strategy and dissemination planning.
- Public relations and media relations.
- Experience working with audiovisual, communication and press teams.
- Knowledge of WordPress is considered an asset.
Profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, Translation or a related field.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in communication, social media management, digital content creation, or a related field
- Proven experience in social media management and digital content creation.
- Experience managing the social media presence of a senior or high-profile public figure.
- Experience producing content related to institutional priorities, public activities and international engagements.
- Strong copywriting and editorial skills.
- Ability to create and adapt content for different platforms and audiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with communication, press and audiovisual teams.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several platforms, priorities and deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required
