We're curious about our business and ambitious about how data and AI can help us achieve more. Now we're looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst & AI Lead to help build that next chapter.

The opportunity

You'll join an experienced team working across BI, Data Governance, Customer Integration and applications. We work closely with the people running the business, from Sales and Finance to the teams delivering freight overnight, nationwide.

You'll follow a question from the first conversation through to the data, the analysis and the story. Your work could explain a change in customer behaviour, uncover revenue leakage or help an operational leader understand where service can improve. Clear storytelling and strong stakeholder relationships will matter as much as the technical solution.

There's also a substantial platform transition ahead. We're a Microsoft business, operating multiple databases and a vast SSRS & PowerBI estate, moving into Fabric. We're using that opportunity to rethink how we deliver information, building trusted, reusable data products around the decisions people need to make.

Alongside BI delivery, you'll take ownership where data meets AI. You'll work with business users to explore opportunities, build and test solutions which will take our insights & planning into conversational chat..

Reporting to our National Data & Analytics Manager, this is a hands-on role with room to influence how we work. You'll have experienced colleagues to learn from, ownership of meaningful delivery and connections to the wider Freightways BI community across Australia & NZ.
