Senior Systems Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to manage, support, and improve enterprise infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. The role covers systems administration, networking, virtualization, storage, security, backup, and infrastructure operations.
The ideal candidate should be able to lead infrastructure upgrades and enhancements, troubleshoot complex technical issues, monitor system performance, support backup and recovery, and contribute to infrastructure and security improvements.
Key
Responsibilities
- Lead infrastructure upgrades, patches, enhancements, and system updates.
- Plan and perform testing and validation of infrastructure changes.
- Monitor system availability, performance, utilization, and capacity.
- Manage and monitor backup and recovery operations.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and network issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Implement and document corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage infrastructure licensing, maintenance agreements, and third-party support.
- Maintain technical documentation for infrastructure and networking environments.
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to IT staff.
- Support information security, compliance, confidentiality, and industry standards.
- Recommend infrastructure and security improvements.
Technical Skills
Hands-on experience with most of the following:
- Microsoft Windows Server and systems management
- Active Directory
- Cisco and/or Meraki switching
- Network routing and security
- SAN/NAS storage
- Veeam or similar backup technologies
- VoIP
- VMware vSphere
- Azure Virtual Desktop
- Microsoft Azure / IaaS
- Microsoft Intune
Strong networking expertise, including:
- Site-to-site VPN
- NAT
- SD-WAN
- Complex routing
Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure and systems administration
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to changing requirements
Security & Compliance:
The role requires strong awareness of information security, privacy, confidentiality, and applicable regulatory requirements. The successful candidate must follow established security policies and procedures, protect sensitive information, and appropriately report security or compliance concerns.

- Fully onsite in Pasig City
