Software Engineer (Automation Control)
$3,500 – $5,000
Kaki Bukit
Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:45pm
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software for automated equipment.
- Review, maintain, and enhance existing software and legacy code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with installed automation systems.
- Prepare user manuals and technical documentation for developed programs.
- Liaise with customers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the automation industry.
- Proficient in PC-based programming, such as Visual C#.
- Familiar with PLC programming, such as Omron or Beckhoff.
- Familiar with motion controllers and actuators, such as IAI or AD Link.
- Willing to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Willing to travel and work at customer sites when required.
