Job description

Salary: $6,000 – $8,000 per month

There are 3 roles

  • Django Python Application Developer (Role 1) (Job code: MAX 5550)

Design, develop, and maintain the ETRS application using Django Python. Build secure and scalable REST APIs and backend services, following best practices related to standards and control of software engineering, testing and release management. Implement complex business logic such as compute risk metrics, generate dashboards, workflows and data quality checks. Develop and maintain responsive UI components using HTML and CSS. Work closely with BAs and/or UX teams to deliver intuitive user interfaces.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain the ETRS application, using Django Python
  • Build secure and scalable REST APIs and backend services, following best practices related to standards and control of software engineering, testing and release management
  • Implement complex business logic (e.g. compute risk metrics, generate dashboards, workflows and data quality checks)
  • Develop and maintain responsive UI components using HTML and CSS
  • Work closely with BAs and/or UX teams to deliver intuitive user interfaces
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and performance optimisation
  • Be part of an Agile team, understand the user requirements and contribute to the evolution of the product
  • Implement and maintain software quality metrics such as clean coding, code coverage, system performance and system security
  • Support code migration using the standard CI/CD pipeline, deployment and release management
  • Provide L3 support to the L1/L2 production support team

About you

  • Strong hands-on experience in Django Python framework
  • Proven experience with MariaDB/MySQL in high-transaction systems
  • Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Experience building secure REST APIs
  • Experience with Linux environments and Git version control
  • Familiarity with NGINX/Apache
  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5–10+ years of software development experience
  • Minimum 3+ years working on banking or financial systems

Application Developer (Role 2) (Job code : MAX 5557)

1. Writing scalable, robust, testable, efficient and easily maintainable code

2. Translating software requirements into stable, working, high performance software

3. Ensure that software packages and programs are well documented and has reasonable test coverage

4. Collaborate closely with other internal technical teams/business users in investigating, testing and deployments

5. Responsible for handling Release Management, raising Change Request and scheduling for the implementation of fixes and enhancements.

6. Root cause analysis, management communication and client relationship management in partnership with Infrastructure Service Support team members.

7. Ensures all production changes are made in accordance with life-cycle methodology and risk guidelines

8. Application Support, Deployment of Release, patches & fixes on Platform

9. Analyze application performance, perform tuning and ensure high availability & stability of platform.

Application Developer (Role 3) (Job code: MAX 5555)

1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine technical and AI-related requirements.

2. Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications, microservices, and APIs.

3. Develop and integrate LLM-powered features (e.g., copilots, chatbots, decision support tools).

4. Build backend services using Java, Python, Node.js, and modern frameworks (FastAPI, Spring Boot).

5. Perform prompt engineering, context engineering, and RAG (retrieval-augmented generation).

6. Build and orchestrate AI agents, Agent Harness and multi-agent workflows.

7. Contribute to full-stack development, including basic UI/UX using JavaScript/TypeScript.

8. Manage end-to-end SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle), including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
