IT System Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on and technically strong individual to provide technical support across our corporate office and retail operations. The role will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex IT issues, maintaining system and network reliability, and providing technical support for our retail POS Systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 IT support for HQ and retail outlets, covering day-to-day and complex technical issues.
• Troubleshoot PCs, laptops, printers, software, Microsoft 365, network/Wi-Fi and other IT systems and equipment.
• Administer and maintain VM, Firewall policies, Storage and user accounts.
• Provide POS support, including setup, configuration, testing, teardown and troubleshooting of POS systems and peripherals.
• Set up IT equipment and user workstations for new employees.
• Support IT requirements for new outlet openings, relocations, renovations and closures.
• Perform system installation, configuration, patching, upgrades and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain IT equipment, asset records and inventory.
• Support IT security, system backup, and business continuity requirements.
• Participate in IT infrastructure, system enhancement and digitalisation projects.

About you

• Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science or related discipline.
• 3 – 5 years relevant experience in IT support, system administration and infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, MS Azure, Entra, AWS, VMware & Fortigate.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills across both end-user and system-level issues.
• Experience supporting POS systems, preferably in a retail/F&B environment, will be an advantage.
• Resourceful, service-oriented and able to work independently.
• Comfortable providing both remote and onsite support at retail outlets.
• Willing to provide after-hours/weekend support when required for critical issues, outlet openings, roadshows or events.
