Job description
Salary: $4,000 – $5,000 per month
Job Responsibilities
- Manage digital content ingest, playlist creation, and scheduling via cinema servers (DCP, TMS/LMS).
- Ensure accurate programming and timely playback of films, trailers, and ads.
- Coordinate delivery, availability, and dispatch of digital film packages (DCPs, KDMs).
- Operate and monitor digital projection and AV systems for screenings.
- Perform regular equipment checks, basic maintenance, and coordinate repairs.
- Troubleshoot projection, sound, and automation system issues promptly.
- Set up and operate AV systems for live, VR, and hybrid events.
- Manage signal routing and live video/audio feeds during events.
- Support and operate VR systems, including headsets and sensors.
- Collaborate with lighting/audio teams for AVL configuration and rehearsals.
- Ensure technical maintenance, safety checks, and proper calibration of cinema equipment.
- Maintain technical documentation, safety protocols, and inventory records.
- Supervise technical/projection staff and handle roster planning and training.
- Address staff conduct issues and ensure team discipline.
- Liaise with internal teams and senior management on technical operations and support event coordination.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Film Technology, Electronics, AV Engineering, IT, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in cinema projection operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong technical knowledge of projection systems and equipment.
- Experience in operating and maintaining cinema projection equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with digital and film projection formats.
- Leadership and staff supervision skills.
- Ability to manage schedules, rosters, and maintenance plans.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Understanding of workplace discipline and emergency protocols
