Project Engineer (Mechanical / Piping)

Job Summary

Ensure successful delivery of water treatment system projects by reviewing technical designs, coordinating schedules, managing documentation, liaising with clients, and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project terms and requirements to ensure comprehensive understanding of water treatment system objectives.
• Review detailed engineering drawings and provide technical advice on practical design and construction specific to water treatment systems.
• Develop, schedule, coordinate, and monitor project activities to meet delivery timelines and optimize resource use.
• Prepare, update, and maintain project documentation and summaries to support project tracking and reporting.
• Compile and submit engineering reports, documents, and drawings to relevant authorities for approval in compliance with regulations.
• Manage and update project schedules with accurate data and report progress to management regularly.
• Engage with clients to accurately interpret and clarify their needs and project requirements.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with project stakeholders to provide support, resolve issues, and ensure customer specifications are met.
• Identify workflow challenges and provide feedback to management to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
• Manage all change orders and deviations during project execution to minimize impact on project scope, cost, and schedule.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with applicable codes, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support project and organizational goals.
