Job description
- Possess a recognized degree in Civil Engineering.
- Fresh graduates are invited to apply.
- Assist Senior Project Engineers and Project Managers in managing day-to-day construction activities.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, method statements, and project documents.
- Assist in coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
- Monitor site progress and report work status to the Senior Project Engineer.
- Assist in ensuring construction work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Attend site inspections and coordinate with relevant parties to resolve site issues.
- Assist with preparation and submission of shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, and inspection requests.
- Maintain proper project documentation, records, drawings, reports, and correspondence.
- Assist in monitoring project schedules and identifying potential delays.
- Assist with quantity measurements, material requirements, and procurement activities.
- Coordinate with subcontractors regarding work schedules, materials, manpower, and site requirements.
- Assist in quality inspections and ensure construction work meets the required standards.
- Support testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Follow company procedures and ensure compliance with workplace safety and environmental requirements.
- Participate in project meetings and record action items when required.
- Learn and apply relevant construction standards, regulations, and engineering practices.
- Carry out other engineering and project-related duties assigned by the Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer.
