About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised Sales Support Executive to support the sales team in managing customer enquiries, quotations, orders and day-to-day sales activities within the marine industry.

The role will work closely with Sales Managers, Business Development Managers, customers, suppliers and internal departments to ensure that sales enquiries are handled efficiently and orders are processed accurately and on time.

This is a sales coordination and support role, with the primary focus on assisting the sales team rather than independently hunting for new business.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day sales and administrative support to the marine sales team.
• Handle incoming customer enquiries and coordinate responses with the relevant Sales Manager or technical team.
• Prepare and issue quotations, proposals, price lists and sales documentation.
• Obtain pricing, availability and lead times from suppliers and manufacturers.
• Follow up with suppliers and internal departments on outstanding quotations and product information.
• Assist Sales Managers with customer follow-ups and quotation tracking.
• Process customer purchase orders and coordinate order fulfilment.
• Liaise with procurement, warehouse, logistics and operations teams to monitor order status.
• Provide customers with updates on pricing, order confirmation and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of quotations, purchase orders, sales orders and customer information.
• Track outstanding quotations and follow up to ensure timely closure.
• Assist with preparing sales reports, sales forecasts and pipeline updates.
• Support the sales team in preparing presentations, tenders and RFQ submissions.
• Coordinate customer meetings, appointments and sales activities.
• Assist with product enquiries by providing customers with relevant catalogues, specifications and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with finance teams regarding invoices, payment status and outstanding accounts where required.
• Assist in resolving customer issues by coordinating with the relevant internal departments.
• Maintain strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Support the sales team during exhibitions, conferences and marine industry events.
