Job Summary

If you are a Strategic HR Business Partner professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career: Based in Singapore, you will provide strategic HR partnership to the Test & Measurement business group, supporting the Global Sales & Marketing organization.

In this role, you will partner with the Vice President of APAC Sales and the broader APAC Sales leadership team to translate business priorities into people strategies across organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent development, employee engagement, and transformation.

Working across a global organization, you will connect regional leaders, HR partners, and key stakeholders, bringing APAC perspectives to talent and organizational decisions while aligning regional needs with global priorities. This is an opportunity to combine business insight with a people-first, collaborative approach to create meaningful organizational impact.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Partner with APAC Sales leaders to develop and implement people strategies that support business goals, customer needs, and sustainable growth.
  • Provide strategic guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, talent management, leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, and organizational capability.
  • Translate business strategies and emerging workforce needs into actionable talent and organizational plans.
  • Advise and support leaders through organizational change, transformation, business integration, restructuring, and growth initiatives.
  • Partner with leaders to create effective organizational structures and strengthen team performance.
  • Utilize workforce data, organizational insights, and business context to inform recommendations and decision-making.
  • Lead talent reviews and succession planning and contribute to leadership development activities across supported organizations.
  • Help strengthen talent pipelines and organizational capabilities needed to support future business priorities.
  • Coach leaders on performance, team effectiveness, talent development, and people-related decisions.
  • Support initiatives that foster employee engagement, inclusion, development, and retention.
  • Collaborate with global HR Business Partners and regional HR teams to align people strategies with business priorities.
  • Provide regional perspectives and insights into global discussions and help adapt global programs to regional and local business needs.
  • Build trusted relationships across functions, countries, cultures, and stakeholder groups to strengthen collaboration and execution.
  • Serve as a connector between APAC business leaders and the broader Emerson organization to promote alignment, knowledge sharing, and effective partnership across the region.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Significant HR Business Partner experience supporting business leaders in complex organizations.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders, including Director, Senior Director, and Vice President-level stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting organizations across multiple countries and cultures within the Asia-Pacific region.
  • Demonstrated expertise in workforce planning, organizational design, talent management, leadership development, and change management.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect people strategies to business outcomes.
  • Experience working within a matrixed, multinational environment.
  • Excellent consulting, relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Abiliyto travel approximately 10-15% based on business needs.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Regional APAC HR Business Partner experience.
  • Experience supporting sales, commercial, customer-facing, or go-to-market organizations.
  • Experience within technology, engineering, industrial technology, software, or other highly technical industries.
  • Experience supporting organizational growth, transformation, or business integration initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and build alignment with leaders across geographies and functions.
  • Experience applying workforce analytics and organizational insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Advanced degree and/or professional HR certification.
