Assistant General Manager (AGM) – Marco’s Pizza

Marco’s Pizza is looking for a dependable, motivated Assistant General Manager to help lead our team and deliver a great experience for our customers.

The AGM works closely with the General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, lead the team, maintain high standards, and help grow sales and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead shifts and keep the restaurant running smoothly.
  • Train, coach, and motivate team members.
  • Help create and manage employee schedules.
  • Maintain excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns.
  • Ensure food quality, portioning, cleanliness, and food-safety standards.
  • Monitor labor, food costs, inventory, and waste.
  • Assist with ordering and inventory management.
  • Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed correctly.
  • Help improve sales, customer satisfaction, and store performance.
  • Hold employees accountable while creating a positive team environment.
  • Step in for the General Manager when needed.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Restaurant management or shift-lead experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Dependable and able to take ownership of the store.
  • Comfortable coaching and holding employees accountable.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Available for evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Pizza or quick-service restaurant experience is a plus.
