The Role

We’re seeking a Contracts Manager who can make a meaningful impact in a fast-growing organization, this role offers the chance to be at the center of complex commercial contracting and strategic business partnerships. As a Contracts Manager, you'll lead the drafting, negotiation, and execution of key customer agreements while collaborating closely with Legal, Sales, Professional Services, Finance, and executive leadership. Key Tasks/Duties:

  • Manage a key portion of the contract lifecycle – specifically, the drafting, reviewing, revising, negotiating, and finalizing of contracts such as: Master Services Agreements, SaaS Agreements, and Statements of Work.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Sales, Professional Services, Customer Experience, Finance and Executive Management teams to ensure contracts adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses to internal stakeholders and external parties.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of contract management processes, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct periodic contract reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle other special projects as assigned.

Essential Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university
  • 8-10 years experience in software/SaaS commercial contracting
  • Background in business law, contract negotiations, new technologies, and international environment
  • Experience in procurement practices
  • Strong understanding of contract law, terms, and conditions, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex legal concepts effectively
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate cross-functionally
  • High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and organization, with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify process improvements and drive operational excellence.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, professionalism, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to grow

Working Conditions:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Travel:

  • Ability to travel up to 5% of working hours

Salary Range: $145,000-175,000 + incentive
