  • Monitor contract performance, funding levels, contract ceilings, periods of performance, option periods, deliverables, reporting requirements, and other critical milestones.
  • Interpret and apply the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), applicable agency supplements, contract clauses, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Review and advise on contract modifications involving funding actions, scope changes, labor categories, contract line items, periods of performance, and other contractual adjustments.
  • Identify potential contractual risks and compliance concerns, recommend appropriate actions, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and current contract files, records, and supporting documentation in accordance with organizational requirements.
  • Support contract closeout activities and ensure all required actions and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
  • Manage, mentor, and provide day-to-day guidance to a team of up to five Contracts Administrators.
  • Assign and prioritize workloads based on contract obligations, deadlines, and business needs, while reviewing team deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Develop team capabilities through structured training, coaching, knowledge sharing, and hands-on mentorship.
  • Establish consistent standards for contract administration and provide performance feedback and support employee development activities.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex contractual questions and identify knowledge gaps requiring additional training.
  • Partner with Program Managers, Finance, Operations, and other internal stakeholders to clarify contractual obligations and support compliant contract performance.
  • Translate complex contract language into clear, actionable guidance and provide timely responses to internal customer inquiries.
  • Identify opportunities to improve contract administration processes, systems, documentation, templates, and internal controls.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of contract management systems and related tools.

  • Stay informed about changes to government contracting regulations, agency supplements, and industry practices that affect contract administration.
  • Requirements
