Verily Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Communications to develop and execute integrated corporate, executive, internal, and stakeholder communications programs that strengthen the company’s reputation and advance awareness of its precision health solutions. This role will partner across the organization to shape Verily’s narrative, build trust with key audiences, and support the mission of improving health outcomes through data-driven healthcare innovation. Reporting to the VP of Communications, this role will translate business priorities into clear, compelling communications and work closely with cross-functional partners to deliver high-impact programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated corporate communications and media relations programs to elevate Verily’s reputation and stakeholder awareness.

Lead internal communication initiatives that align employees with Verily’s mission, culture, and business priorities.

  • Craft executive communications, thought leadership, and messaging frameworks while building relationships with patient advocacy groups and healthcare providers.
  • Partner across teams to deliver compliant communications supporting product launches, clinical milestones, and major corporate initiatives.
  • Support the VP of Communications with strategic planning, media prep, and cross-functional agency management across multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, public affairs, or a related field.
  • Experience developing and executing communications programs in healthcare, biotechnology, life sciences, health technology, or another regulated industry.
  • Experience supporting executives and driving cross-functional communications initiatives in a matrixed organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical/scientific concepts into compelling stories, paired with a strong healthcare/tech media relations background.
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations, HIPAA guidelines, and relevant healthcare policy landscape.
  • Proven success building trust and partnerships with patient advocacy organizations, healthcare providers, and external industry groups.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, sound judgment, and the ability to operate independently in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000 - $210,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
