Description

The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Manager will lead and execute change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions and high adoption rates across critical technology implementations and business transformations.The role requires hands-on experience in stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, communication planning, and training delivery.This position is housed within the Office of Information Technology, which provides technical leadership, innovation, and support across the Department. The OCM Manager will drive change initiatives for enterprise platforms, operational workflows, and policy shifts that impact educators, districts, and internal staff.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field.

Experience

Minimum of 7 years of organizational change management experience, including leading change strategies for large-scale enterprise technology deployments and organizational restructurings.

Preferred Education/Experience

Experience developing structured change enablement frameworks, communications plans, and user training programs within public sector or educational agency environments.Strong understanding of change metrics, adoption tracking tools, and methodologies for evaluating readiness and measuring business impact post-implementation.Proven track record of managing stakeholder engagement across crossfunctional teams, executive leadership, and external partners.Excellent facilitation, active listening, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to translate complex technical processes into clear, accessible language for end users.
