Minimum Qualifications
Three years of human resources experience; OR
Six years of full-time experience in any field; OR
A bachelor’s degree.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
- Manages employee benefits transactions, including health, supplemental insurance, and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) processing.
- Reviews and processes FMLA and parental leave requests, including eligibility determinations and related documentation.
- Processes and verifies employee retirement transactions, including retirement-related forms and inquiries.
- Conducts payroll and benefits audits, identifies discrepancies, and takes corrective action to ensure accurate and timely payments.
- Processes and audits employee payroll transactions, including new hires, prior-period adjustments, leave payments, and employee deductions.
- Maintains accurate payroll and benefits records and ensures data integrity between HR systems and payroll.
- Provides employee assistance and guidance regarding payroll, benefits, retirement, leave, and insurance matters while coordinating with state agencies and benefit partners.

Compensation: This position is eligible for the following Special Entrance Rates (SER) for the job titles:
Human Resources Analyst A - $20.20 hr / $1,616.00 bi-weekly
Human Resources Analyst B - $21.61 hr / $1,728.80 bi-weekly
Human Resources Analyst C - $24.31 hr / $1,944.80 bi-weekly
