Human Resources (HR) Business Partner / Employee Care Field Coordinator
Location: Nationwide - determined based on location of assigned project

This role will be based in Reeves County, TX, and will require you to relocate to the area of your assigned project. You may also be required to relocate to the area of any future projects that you may be assigned to.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the go-to HR partner on-site, working closely with project leadership and the Home Office to support the full employee lifecycle.
- Recruit and onboard craft & staff employees — sourcing, interviewing, scheduling, and coordinating pre-employment requirements, as needed.
- Own on-site onboarding & orientation experiences, in coordination with the Safety team, that sets employees up for success.
- Maintain accurate & compliant employee records in the HRIS; generate reports and audits to support analytics and controls.
- Administer I-9 and E-Verify processes in accordance with company best practices, and federal & state regulations.
- Support benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee benefit communications.
- Partner with the Home Office Employee Care (HR) team on training programs, compliance tracking, and recordkeeping.
- Coordinate with Safety to ensure all required labor law postings are current and visible.
- Support & guide the consistent application of employment policies and practices.
- Act as a trusted resource for employees and project management, supporting employee relations, attendance and performance management, and the resolution of workplace concerns.
- Conduct or support workplace investigations, maintaining appropriate documentation in coordination with HR leadership.
- Manage leaves of absence (including FMLA, ADA, etc.) in coordination with the Home Office.
- Support employee separations, unemployment claims, and offboarding processes.
- Assist with 401(k) administration.
- Help implement & support digital, field-based HR systems and tools.
- Support unemployment processes, including gathering supporting documentation, preparing & submitting claim responses, participating in hearings, and coordinating with TPAs and project sites as needed to ensure timely & effective claim resolution.
- Responsible for implementing and hosting employee training & development programs at the construction site location.
- Maintain employee/personnel files and recordkeeping in accordance with policy and procedures.
- Support the development, maintenance, and distribution of employee communication materials and resources.

- Technical aptitude and comfort supporting HR and IT systems.
- Ability to work overtime or weekends as project requires.
- Willingness to travel and relocate to support project sites throughout the U.S.
- Bilingual Spanish skills required.
Experience & Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist or similar HR role.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM CP) preferred.
- Construction or project-based industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with HRIS software – ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft O365 and Microsoft Teams.
