International Tax Manager
Job description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing new international tax laws or regulatory reporting requirements and assessing impact on the firm.
- Model international tax components (GILTI, FDII, BEAT) and complete related filings (Forms 1118, 5471, 8858, etc.).
- Coordinate with regional tax managers to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax filings and regulatory submissions.
- Maintain international tax compliance calendars and track filing deadlines across applicable jurisdictions.
- Implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in international tax compliance and reporting.
- Manage the collection, coordination, and review of information, including foreign tax packages, needed to support financial and income tax audits and other jurisdiction-specific tax inquiries.
- Conduct technical research on tax issues. Provide support for special projects and cross-functional assignments as needed.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, taxation or higher required
- 4+ years accounting experience in a multinational corporation or in a professional services organization required
- CPA Certification preferred
- Previous tax accounting experience in a global organization preferred
- International tax knowledge and financial and accounting systems experience
- Understanding of ASC740 and US GAAP concepts
- Responds to inquiries quickly with professionalism and tact

- Ability to read and interpret information accurately and concisely
- Maintains high level of confidentiality
- Ability to organize, manage, prioritize, and handle numerous projects/tasks and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Works well as an individual and as part of a team, willing and eager to help others and share knowledge and skills
- Willing to be flexible and committed to strict reporting and tax deadlines
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
