Schedule: Mon- Fri 8a-5p
Pay: The pay for this position is $25.00 to $25.00
What You'll Do
As a Marketing & Development Assistant, you'll support fundraising, donor engagement, marketing initiatives, and special events that help further the impact of our organization. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, creative, people-focused, and passionate about nonprofit work.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting fundraising campaigns, donor stewardship, and annual giving initiatives
Assisting with special event planning and execution
Researching prospective donors, foundations, and grant opportunities
Supporting grant proposal and reporting efforts
Creating marketing materials, donor communications, social media content, and email campaigns
Assisting with website updates and fundraising outreach
Helping coordinate donor recognition and appreciation efforts
Supporting video and storytelling projects that highlight the impact of our programs
What We're Looking For
✅ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
✅ 1-2 years of related experience in fundraising, marketing, communications, nonprofit development, or a similar field
✅ Strong written and verbal communication skills
✅ Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
✅ Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
✅ Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with donors, staff, and community members
✅ Valid California Driver's License, current auto insurance, and acceptable driving record
✅ Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
