Release Manager
Job description
You will own the software release lifecycle for autonomy trucking products. You will coordinate cross-functional integration, prepare builds for release, plan and oversee release processes, maintain release schedules, and help ensure reliable and safe system-based releases.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the software release process
- Serve as the point of contact for safe and efficient software releases
- Coordinate teams to integrate software and prepare builds for release
- Plan, design, implement, and oversee integration and release processes
- Align priorities and maintain release schedules with technical program managers
Requirements
- Engineering degree or at least three years of equivalent knowledge and work experience
- 2+ years of professional experience with safety-critical and complex systems
- Experience in autonomous driving or robotics in release management, hardware, software, autonomy, or field testing
- Experience with issue-tracking and release-management tools, including Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, or Git
- Experience with Linux and scripting languages such as Bash, Shell, or Python
- Experience with build systems such as CMake, Make, or Bazel
- Troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills
