This is a temp to hire opportunity.

Position Summary

PCA is seeking an experienced Technical Applications Support Analyst to support business-critical applications used throughout our manufacturing operations. This role requires strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, the ability to work directly with end users, and strong SQL knowledge for researching and resolving application-related issues.

This position begins as a 6-month contract assignment with the opportunity to convert to a full-time PCA employee based on performance and business needs. PCA is seeking candidates interested in a long-term opportunity and continued growth within the organization.

Responsibilities

Provide support for enterprise business applications used across multiple manufacturing facilities.

Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application, process, and data-related issues.

Work directly with users to identify root causes and implement solutions.

Utilize SQL to research transactions, validate data, and support business operations.

Test software enhancements, application updates, and new functionality.

Create and maintain support documentation.

Support applications including Customer Maintenance, Estimating, Pricing, Order Processing, Scheduling, Shipping, Invoicing, Inventory, Security, Payroll, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, and Manufacturing Systems.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience.

5+ years of experience supporting business applications in a corporate environment.

Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write and troubleshoot queries using joins, subqueries, and data analysis techniques to research and resolve business application issues.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.

Experience investigating and resolving application and data-related issues.

Experience working directly with end users.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting ERP, manufacturing, supply chain, or distribution applications.

Experience in the corrugated packaging, paper, or manufacturing industry.

Experience with software testing and quality assurance processes.
