LOCATION: IN-HOUSE, QUEENS OFFICE
EMPLOYEMENT TYPE: FULL TIME / PART TIME
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain financial data in QuickBooks.
- Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
- Maintain organized filing systems for accounting records (both digital and physical).
- Handle data entry with a high degree of accuracy.
- Support the accounting team with administrative duties such as scheduling, document preparation, and correspondence.
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding billing and payment inquiries.
- Assist with audits, tax preparation, and other compliance requirements as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with QuickBooks (mandatory).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Previous experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related administrative role.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in a professional accounting office environment.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Familiarity with accounting software integrations and reporting tools.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
