Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Orange, CA
Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Range: $23.00 - $28.00 hourly)
Position Summary:
Facility is seeking a highly motivated Administrative Assistant (Scheduler) to provide essential clerical and administrative support to the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) operations. This temporary position plays a vital role in coordinating appointments, transportation, and communication with participants, families, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- CPR and First Aid Certification (must be obtained within six months of hire).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree.
- 1 year of healthcare-related experience.
- Bilingual in one of CalOptima Health’s threshold languages (e.g., Spanish, Vietnamese, Arabic, Farsi, Korean, Chinese).
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
- Ability to work independently, manage time, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of organisation, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Skilled in maintaining confidentiality and professionalism across various communication levels.
