We are looking to add an administrative assistant/receptionist to our practice. We have offices at multiple locations and the interested candidate should be able to work at different locations on different days.
Job description:
- Checks in and out patients for their appointments
- Verifies and recording patients' demographic and medical information by interviewing patient
- Performs secretarial duties using specific knowledge of medical terminology and hospital, clinic, or laboratory procedures. Duties may include scheduling appointments, billing patients, and compiling and recording medical charts, reports, and correspondence.
- Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; keeping patient information confidential
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
- Enhances practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
