Assistant Food and Beverage Manager
Our Assistant Food and Beverage Manager at The Lakehouse assists in overseeing the different functions of the food and beverage areas on the property. This includes Brickmans restaurant at The Links, in-room dining service, Spinnaker Coffee, Birdie’s Shack, the beverage cart, and pool bar.
We would like our Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to have a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment and possess a can-do attitude.
THE DUTIES OF AN ASSISTANT FOOD AND BEVERAGE MANAGER INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TOO, THE FOLLOWING:
- Make a positive contribution to the Lakehouse culture
- Oversee front-of-house staff and daily service operations with hands on support of execution
- Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt, professional, and friendly service
- Coach, counsel and discipline
- Monitor inventory, order and receive product, control costs
- Schedule, train staff, and manage productivity/labor results
- Accurately complete payroll in a timely manner
- Monitor and manage food and beverage quality and presentation
- Enforce health, safety, sanitation, and security standards
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory angencies
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Create/enforce cleaning programs and position side work
- Perform opening and closing duties
- Take on additional duties as needed or directed

- 1+ years of experience in food and beverage supervision, preferably in a hotel/resort setting.
- Strong leadership and communication Skills

- Food Handlers and RBS certified.
