Job Description

Small technology OEM firm is seeking a full-time bookkeeper to help manage the day-to-day accounting of business ledgers. The bookkeeper will manage outstanding accounts receivable, communicating with internal sales reps and customers to bring balances current. This position will work primarily with reports generated by Netsuite and Excel, so computer aptitude is a plus. Other functions as needed, such as processing checks and mailing invoices.

Responsibilities

· Balance general ledger among chart of accounts

· Receive checks, wire transfers, and payments – record to ledger

· Reconcile entries of payments, refunds, credits, account balances

· Complies with local, state, and federal requirements including state sales tax submission

· Follow-up on accounts receivables, ensuring accurate submission of invoices and timely remittances

· Establish Net30 and other billing terms as appropriate

· Manage accounts payable and vendor bills for purchase orders

Qualifications

· Professional and courteous phone presence

· Excellent command of the English language, responding to emails with proper spelling, grammar, and clarity to effectively convey information

· Positive team attitude and interpersonal communication skills

· Ability to self-manage time and organize priorities to meet deadlines

· Self-sufficient and shows strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel

· Experience with Netsuite, Quickbooks

· Previous receivables or bookkeeping experience

· Experience with tax accounting / state sales tax submission

Job Type: Full-time
