Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a pleasant and enjoyable breakfast experience. This position requires a friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Breakfast Attendant will be responsible for food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and providing exceptional service to all guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area, ensuring all food items are fresh and presented attractively.
- Serve breakfast items, including coffee, pastries, fruits, and hot dishes, while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Assist guests with their breakfast needs and provide helpful recommendations or answers to inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area by bussing tables, cleaning spills, and ensuring all surfaces are sanitized.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to food safety regulations.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately when necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service during busy periods.
- Monitor inventory levels of food items and supplies, reporting any shortages or needs to management.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS systems is a plus.
- Basic culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques are beneficial.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in banquet service or similar roles is advantageous.
