Location Requirements
- Primary Location: Northern Virginia or Washington DC Metro Area
- In-Person Collaboration: Must be available for regular face-to-face meetings for strategic planning and business development
- Travel: Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities
Partnership Contributions
Business Development & Sales Leadership
- Co-lead sales initiatives across Federal, SLED (State, Local, Education), and commercial markets
- Collaborate on go-to-market strategies and execution
- Build and maintain client relationships and strategic partnerships
- Share responsibility for revenue generation and business growth
Operations & Strategic Planning
- Co-develop company vision, mission, and strategic direction
- Jointly establish operational frameworks and business processes
- Equal participation in corporate structure decisions and incorporation planning
- Share day-to-day business operations while technical partner handles development
Market Development
- Jointly identify new market opportunities and customer segments
- Collaborate on competitive analysis and market research
- Co-develop pricing strategies and proposal responses
- Share responsibility for contract negotiations and deal closure
Ideal Candidate Profile
Professional Background
- Proven sales experience, preferably in technology or B2B environments
- Understanding of complete business lifecycles from startup to scale
- Experience with Federal, SLED, or enterprise sales preferred
- Track record of successful business development and client acquisition
