Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage electrical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering and project management, with a proven ability to coordinate multiple tasks effectively. This role requires excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. We have been in business 40 + years and have no history of layoffs.
Duties
- Lead and manage multi-family and hospitality electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of project tasks.
- Conduct construction estimating to determine project costs and resource needs.
- Utilize project management software such as ProCore for scheduling and tracking progress.
- Review and interpret schematics and technical drawings related to electrical systems.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet changing requirements or unforeseen challenges.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, risks, and milestones.
- Maintain and develop relationships with local suppliers and sub contractors. Oversee project team and report hours as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred. Five years minimum of field experience required.
- Proven experience in electrical project management or similar roles.
- Strong skills in construction estimating and project coordination.
- Excellent time management abilities with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in using project management tools such as ProCore.
- Proficiency with a web based estimating program.
- Familiarity with electrical schematics and engineering principles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.

Pay: $83,200.00 - $104,000.00 per year
