Job Title: Director of Extinguishers
We are seeking a Director of Extinguishers. Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Extinguishers is responsible for overseeing the operations of all aspects of the extinguisher side of the business company-wide.
This job requires the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment with a focus on specific safety practices and health programs. It also requires travel to branch office locations, job sites and customer facilities
Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing the entire operations of the extinguisher department within the organization.
- Identify opportunities for department growth to improve efficiency and implement new strategies.
- A drive to sell and grow the extinguisher business.
- Work with the extinguisher field supervisors to guide management techniques.
- Ensure all fire extinguisher systems meet local, state and national regulations, including NFPA standards.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to conduct job site visits.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Director of Extinguishers is responsible for overseeing the extinguisher department in the organisation.

- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- A bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field is a plus.
- 7+ years’ fire protection experience, specifically with extinguishers, is required.
- 5+ years of business-to-business sales are required.
- Knowledge of NFPA guidelines is required.
- Experience in managing a team is required.
- Ability to travel is required.
Computer Skills:
- Computer Skills: Significant experience with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Education Required
High School or better.
Preferred
Bachelor's or better in Business Administration or a related field.
Experience Required
Previous experience managing a team.
5 years: Business-to-business sales experience.
7 years: Experience in fire protection and extinguishers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
