Essential Functions: The EHS Coordinator will direct and oversee the organization’s Early Head Start (EHS) services. This position is responsible for ensuring that the agency complies with all applicable Head Start Program Performance Standards (HSPPS) and Kansas Early Head Start (KSEHS) regulations related to EHS services (home-based, center-based, and childcare partnerships). Evaluate, design, and monitor systems and processes for, EHS home visits, documentation of activities and services, supervising staff and childcare partnership (CCP) agreements in compliance with HSPPS, KSEHS and KDHE regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in social service or early childhood education or related area.
- Requires knowledge and experience in data collection and information processes and systems along with knowledge of childcare regulations, policy, and procedure compliance. Typically gained by one to two years related experience in a lead position.
