ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Assists the Director of Sales in the implementation of sales plans and objectives and recommends programs and policies to achieve these plans and objectives.
- Identifies organizations within assigned territory or market segment that are actual or potential customers.
- Documents, thoroughly, information relating to contacts and needs of clients or prospective clients. Assures such files and database are properly organized and kept up to date.
- Solicits and sells the facility via telephone, letters, and personal contacts.
- Prepares and delivers written and oral sales presentations to individuals and/or groups as appropriate.
- Negotiates and prepares contracts.
- Advises tenants of building policies.
- Prepares, reviews, and confirms all final billing for submission to accounting.
- Secures required tenant insurance and provides diagrams for special room set-ups.
- Assists in the maintenance of the master calendar of bookings and events.
- Assists as Event Manager as required.
- Develops and maintains an accurate, up-to-date, and comprehensive knowledge of the competition.
- Conducts site tours of the center and attractions as required. Entertains clients as appropriate.
- Attends local and out of town industry meetings and seminars as required.
- Travel as required for sales calls.
- Works in conjunction with the Food & Beverage department to generate catering revenues.

Other Qualifications
- Ability to work under limited supervision and to interact with all levels of staff including management.
- Ability to work long and irregular hours that may vary due to functions and may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
