Position Summary
CBI Security Services is actively seeking elite, highly disciplined Executive Protection Officers to join our specialized Armed Security Division. These positions are reserved for professionals with advanced backgrounds in law enforcement, military service, corrections, and other high-security or tactical fields. The role demands both tactical readiness and the professionalism to operate discreetly in high-profile or sensitive environments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide close protection and proactive threat response for clients and designated locations
- Conduct detailed patrols (foot and vehicle), and venue assessments
- Maintain constant situational awareness and readiness in dynamic environments
- Document and report any incidents, threats, or vulnerabilities with accuracy and discretion
- Follow strict protocols for access control, perimeter defense, and VIP escort
- Respond to emergencies involving threats, medical situations, or suspicious activity
- Coordinate with team leaders, local law enforcement, and company dispatch as needed
- Operate with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment in high-stress situations
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Utah Armed Security License (required)
- Previous experience in one or more of the following: (preferred)
- Law enforcement
- Military
- Corrections
- Executive protection / high-threat security
- Medical, defensive tactics, martial arts, or relevant high-pressure fields
- Willingness to travel within Utah Valley
- Availability to work all shifts including days, swings, graves, weekends, and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation and communication
- Physical capability to:
- Stand or patrol for extended periods (8–12 hour shifts)
- Climb multiple flights of stairs
- Perform physical interventions if necessary
- Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Selection Process
- Initial Interview with Executive Protection Commander
- Secondary Panel Interview (after successful 60-day performance)
- Candidates must complete 60 days at designated armed posts before consideration for permanent placement on the Executive Protection team
Compensation & Advancement
- Starting pay is $30.00 per hour
- Additional pay determined based on contract assignment and qualifications
