Duties
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest information and billing.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, local attractions, and events to provide accurate information to guests.
- Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls, taking messages when necessary while adhering to proper phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests and address any issues that arise during their stay.
- Process reservations through various channels while maintaining an organized system for tracking bookings.
- Assist in administrative tasks such as filing reports, managing inventory of supplies, and updating guest records as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in front desk operations or guest services within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on guest relations; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with hotel management software and phone systems is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure smooth operations at the front desk.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required by the business needs.
