We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Front Desk Agent/Supervisor to join our team at our Bridgeport, WV Location. This is a key position responsible for ensuring seamless guest check-in/check-out, managing front desk operations, and acting as the central liaison between departments—Front Desk, Housekeeping, Breakfast, and Maintenance. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and passionate about guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Guest Services & Front Desk Operations
- Greet and assist guests with check-in/check-out, reservations, and inquiries.
- Ensure accuracy in all guest billing and payment transactions.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and ensure a welcoming and problem-free stay.
Supervisory & Administrative Duties
- Oversee day-to-day front desk operations during your shift.
- Train, support, and guide front desk team members in delivering exceptional service.
- Maintain accuracy in shift reports, logs, and documentation.
Cross-Department Liaison
- Serve as the central communication point between Front Desk, Housekeeping, Breakfast, and Maintenance to ensure:
- Clean and ready rooms for guest check-in.
- Breakfast area is stocked, clean, and guest-ready each morning.
- Prompt resolution of guest room issues or property maintenance requests.
- Conduct daily stand-ups or use tools to align department teams for seamless operations.
Technology & Automation Awareness
- Utilize property management software (Opera Cloud), revenue systems (RevIQ), and communication tools efficiently.
- Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and support hotel automation initiatives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or business training preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of hotel front desk or supervisory experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Comfortable with technology and systems (training will be provided).
- Professional demeanor and problem-solving mindset.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as needed.
