Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations during the night shift. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for guest relations, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest accounts.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Perform night audit duties, including balancing accounts and preparing financial reports.
- Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is organized and presentable at all times.
- Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, providing information about hotel services and amenities.
- Assist with reservations and provide recommendations for local attractions or dining options.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or front desk operations is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Proficiency in hospitality management software is a plus.
- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable to enhance communication with diverse guests.
- Knowledge of night audit procedures is an advantage but not required; training will be provided.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
