Front Desk Assistant – The Beauty Loft Spa

Position Overview:
We are seeking a warm, reliable, and detail-oriented Front Desk Assistant who is passionate about providing exceptional service and creating a welcoming, relaxing experience for every client who walks through our doors. This role is key to the success of our day-to-day operations and to maintaining the elevated standard of care our clients have come to expect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients with a friendly, professional demeanor and create a welcoming atmosphere
- Check clients in and out for appointments with efficiency and accuracy
- Manage appointment bookings, rescheduling, and confirmations via phone, email, and scheduling software
- Educate clients on our full range of services and retail products, and help promote ongoing specials
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and common areas
- Assist with light operational tasks such as stocking, tidying, and keeping the environment presentable
- Support marketing efforts by participating in social media content creation and email campaigns
- Communicate effectively with spa staff and management to ensure smooth operations and an excellent client experience
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role (spa, salon, retail, or hospitality preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for wellness and beauty
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with basic technology (POS systems, email, booking software, etc.)
- Availability to work evenings and weekends preferred
