Bilingual Front Desk Manager needed for busy Orthopedic/Pain Management Medical Practice. This is a hands-on position.
Must have an outgoing personality and a love to help people.
- Supervising: Managing front desk staff - making staff schedules, training, overseeing all functions of front desk operations
- Greeting patients: Providing a welcoming and professional first impression.
- Answering phones: Handling inquiries, scheduling appointments, and directing calls appropriately.
- Managing patient records: Ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is maintained.
- Assisting with patient needs: Providing information, addressing concerns, and guiding patients through the check-in/check-out process.
- Maintaining confidentiality: Protecting patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Communicating with other departments: Liaising with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Spreadsheet population: Ability to enter weekly visit statistics in an Excel sheet
Administrative & Clerical Tasks:
- Scheduling appointments: Managing the appointment calendar and coordinating with patients and staff.
- Utilizing medical office software: Managing patient information, appointments, and billing.
- Preparing patient charts: Assembling necessary paperwork for upcoming appointments.
Other Responsibilities:
- Keeping the reception area clean and tidy: Ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
- Following HIPAA guidelines: Maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Adhering to office policies and procedures: Ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Problem-solving and multitasking: Handling a variety of tasks and situations with efficiency.
Office is located in Forest Hills Queens close to all mass transit.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
