Broad Top Area Medical Center, located in Huntingdon County, PA, is seeking a full-time Front Desk Specialist at our Walk-In Clinic. This individual will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors and plays a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and verify insurance information
- Answer phone calls and direct calls as appropriate
- Collect co-pays and maintain accurate billing records
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and waiting area
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure efficient clinic operations
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus
- Professional demeanor and a commitment to patient-centered service
The successful candidate will have medical office experience with strong customer service and communication skills. Knowledge of medical terminology, computers, and general office equipment are required.
